You may have been wondering where was Living with Dignity during the recent electoral campaign. We kept silent in the hope that nobody would make the electoral promise to legalise “medical aid in dying”. Unfortunately, Mr. Couillard and Mrs. Marois both promised made that promise a few days before the election.

National dialogue on end of life care

The Canadian Medical Association is currently conducting a dialog on end-of-life care. They are asking for the participation of physicians who are members through a website, as well as meetings throughout the country. As this dialogue is only for physicians, they have organised a site so those of us who aren’t doctors can participate.

It is extremely important that you participate in this dialogue. We must show there is a real opposition to euthanasia and assisted suicide in all its forms.
