National dialogue on end of life care

The Canadian Medical Association is currently conducting a dialog on end-of-life care. They are asking for the participation of physicians who are members through a website, as well as meetings throughout the country. As this dialogue is only for physicians, they have organised a site so those of us who aren’t doctors can participate.

It is extremely important that you participate in this dialogue. We must show there is a real opposition to euthanasia and assisted suicide in all its forms.

You may refer to the following points against euthanasia when making your argument: http://vivredignite.org/en/against-euthanasia/.

For Physicians

The dialogue is taking place on this site: https://cmadialogue.ca/en/.

The next “town hall” meetings are taking place as follows:

  • March 15 — Edmonton, AB
  • March 24 — Vancouver, BC
  • April 16 — Whitehorse, YT
  • May 7 — Régina, SK
  • May 27 — Mississauga, ON

Please note there are no meeting scheduled in Quebec.
