\nThe author is one of the most outspoken academic proponents of euthanasia and assisted suicide in Canada. She does make a good point, that physicians must get involved in the debate. However her perspective becomes evident on careful reading. Also her interpretation of the court decision as legalizing euthanasia in addition to assisted suicide is far from being universally accepted (http:\/\/vivredignite.org\/en\/2015\/03\/the-carter-decision-authorizes-only-assisted-suicide\/<\/a>).<\/p>\n
