It is, of course, wise and necessary to take such precautions, to avoid having to improvise, which would no doubt lead to many unfair decisions. Among these is, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.parl.ca\/DocumentViewer\/en\/43-1\/bill\/C-7\/first-reading\">Bill C-7<\/a>\u00a0, which as you know removes the end-of-life requirement and removes several other safeguards that were intended to to protect people from euthanasia.\u00a0 There is no doubt that a new version of Bill C-7 will be reintroduced without delay now that Parliament has resumed. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/grandinmedia.ca\/liberals-press-ahead-with-changes-to-assisted-suicide-law\/\">federal Liberals are vowing to pass changes to Canada\u2019s assisted suicide law<\/a> before a court-imposed deadline.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/health-canada\/services\/medical-assistance-dying-annual-report-2019.html\"><strong>First Annual Report on Medical Assistance in Dying in Canada, 2019<\/strong><\/a><strong>: <\/strong> This report contains information collected from practitioners and pharmacists for the 2019 calendar year on written requests for and cases of MAID across Canada. He begins his story with the battle to save the life of his baby girl, Jessica, who was born with a severe congenital cardiac malformation. He describes the challenges of facing difficult diagnoses through both his personal experiences and those of his patients. This manifesto proposes a profound reflection on the fears (of losing one\u2019s dignity, of suffering&#8230;) that can lead to a request for euthanasia in anticipation of future dementia.
