Dear friends and colleagues, 

I am writing to bring your attention to a letter written by a group of medical professionals who are advisors to the Vulnerable Persons Standard<\/em><\/strong>  (http:\/\/www.vps-npv.ca\/<\/a>). The letter calls on the Attorney General of Canada to appeal a recent Quebec Superior Court decision that struck down the end of life criterion in Canada\u2019s medical assistance in dying legislation. The authors are concerned about the far-reaching implications of this decision – both within medicine and within Canadian society. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please consider signing this open letter to indicate your support and call for the Federal government to appeal this decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
